How we measure ecosystem influence
The framework rests on three instruments run in parallel. Panel 1 captures net attributed headcount by vintage. The Apprenticeship Ecosystem Influence Index, or AEII, scores the strength of influence events. Panel 3 records narrative contribution claims. Six channels feed the model: grantmaking, incubating and piloting, funded research, open-source content, field engagement, and convenings.
